For starters, make sure you are pre-approved for a loan for Sierra Vista real estate. You don’t want to find the Sierra Vista home of your dreams only to realize you can’t afford it. Sit down with a lender and go over all your income and finances and determine exactly how much you can afford. Once you do this, then you can move onto the next step.

Find a buyers agent. This is so important in buying Sierra Vista real estate. With out one, you are likely to spend more money  and not get all the terms of your negotiation. You don’t want the listing agent to do all the negotiations for you because they are only working for the seller. Not you!

Once you have a buyer’s agent, you don’t have to worry about paying them because they get paid from the seller of whatever Sierra Vista home you choose! So it doesn’t matter to them which home you choose, they only want what you want. They will get paid regardless so they are working solely for you, the buyer.

Also, when buying Sierra Vista homes you will want to map out the area you want to buy in. Make sure you think about things like schools, hospitals, clinics, libraries and anything else you may need on a daily or weekly basis. You don’t want to be across town from a clinic if you have a highly allergic child, or something similar. These are things you sometimes don;t think about until you are actually thrown into the situation and have to use it.

Make lists of what you want in a home and those things you really hate. Then find a good balance of the majority of things you love in the price range you can afford.

One big tip- GET A HOME INSPECTION! This is probably one of the biggest purchases you will make and not knowing all you can about your Sierra Vista AZ real estate before you buy can really cost you in the future. Know all you can about it then make a final judgment call. Remember, you are not tied into the house if the inspection shows something you don’t agree with. You can walk away or ask for whatever you want in the contingency. Your buyers agent will help you negotiate in the best possible way.
